The fringes are hand-knotted by local craftswomen who work from home and support their households.

Concerned about the company impact, all foutas are designed with 100% recycled cotton yarns, without chemical additives and certified GRS and OEKO-TEX, coming from the manufacturing surplus of international ready-to-wear brands. They favour low-polluting modes of transport such as boat and the packaging comes from sustainably managed forests.
